Traditional Chinese Medicine came into my life over 20 years ago and has grown to be an integrated part of my lifestyle. I have spent countless hours learning, studying and safely practicing the modalities of Acupuncture in North America and SouthEast Asia. In 2006, completed 1 year of full-time formal studies of Traditional Chinese Medicine @ the Calgary College of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine. I then relocated to Victoria, B.C. where I studied at both Pacific Rim College & The Canadian College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine, graduating in 2010. I have been implementing and expanding this education and skill set in the various places I have lived with my family since then, which include Haida Gwaii, B.C., Waterloo, ON, Norwich, VT & now the Annapolis Valley, N.S. While the world as we know it is rapidly changing, I am committed to using these ancient principles and techniques to provide safe and nurturing treatments to people of all ages, genders, and race.
I believe a return to holistic practices provides an appropriate and strong bedrock from which to navigate the disruptive traumas our bodies and spirits face in our life-journeys. I enjoy exploring and photographing the changing elements of Mother Nature in all seasons with my husband and two young sons. In keeping with my holistic approach to health and wellness I grow food and medicine in my home garden to share with my family, friends and community.
